Well, I made my every other week trip to the mailbox today.(I find it easier to throw all the junk mail out at once, rather than being disgusted every day when I get home.)

And looky there! A brand spanking new census form! With an ominous warning. “Your response is required by law.” (cue scary music da ta DAAAAA!!!!!!!)

So I gave ‘er a look, and lo and behold! A bunch of questions that have nothing to do with counting people for the purpose of apportioning Representatives or direct taxes.

Obviously, after being taken over by the Executive Branch, the people at the Census have not understood what the point of the census is.

So along with answering the only Constitutional question on the form, I included the following note:

To Whom It May Concern:

According to Article 1 section 2 of the Constitution of The United States of America:

“Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Number… The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.”

Therefore, the only information that the Federal Government is entitled to by the Constitution is the number of people at the residence.

I have provided this information to you, and having done so, have discharged my duty as a citizen.

It’s good to do your duty.

AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL
AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO
ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words “except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act” and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.

So, what has beloved leader done now?

Essentially, He has placed Interpol above the laws of the land here in the US.

Section 2c of the United States International Organizations Immunities Act is the crucial piece.

Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable. (Emphasis added.)

Inviolable archives means INTERPOL records are beyond US citizens’ Freedom of Information Act requests and from American legal or investigative discovery (“unless such immunity be expressly waived.”)

Property and assets being immune from search and confiscation means precisely that. Wherever they may be in the United States. This could conceivably include human assets – Americans arrested on our soil by INTERPOL officers.

Henry Waxman (D-Cali.) Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, has made a gangster move towards the heads of the insurance companies here in the US.

Go here for the letters sent out.

This is nothing more than a shakedown, and co-operation in this matter by anyone in the insurance industry would seem to me like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. Most of this information can be procured publicly, and what cannot be, is the business of the companies, not the government.

If indeed this ever gets to a special committee, I would hope that any Republican members would renounce it publicly, and walk out on the proceedings.

As for Henry Waxman, this is a guy who was more than likely beat up frequently as a kid, and is taking it out on the rest of us, has managed to hold office for as long as he has by bringing home the pork to his district, or just counting on the ignorance of his constituents. Either way, he is a danger that needs to be dealt with.

The letter details the Chicago-style tactics used to try to intimidate the sitting Governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer.

Issa lays out the tactics, and disputes the Administration’s policies with facts well known to anyone paying attention.
