I was hanging around work one day, and it came to me like a flash of lightning.

I was tired, really tired of dealing with all of the dirty, smelly hippies and their ever tightening noose of political correctness.

So, I sketched this out on my notepad, and finished it up at home.

Circle slash is universally known as NO

WLB stands for:

Whiny

Little

Bitches

It’s going to be a new tattoo, so I have something to annoy people with.
Feel free to snipe it, and spread it around.

The following is a recounting of an event I attended on August 19,2010. It’s not news reporting, and I have marked opinion paragraphs with a warning.

Part 3 begins……

Opinion paragraphs coming…..

The second guy is just your regular, ordinary, White Guy. This idiot, looks at the pair from the FCC and begs them to regulate the Internet.

Let me repeat that.

This idiot fucking begs these government bureaucrats to deprive the free market of the ability to function, and to take control of something that works.

You know, I, have seen some lame shit in my life, but I always thought that people were more proud than to beg the government in public to regulate their lives. I was wrong.

The third panelist, was a local rapper/self-described community organizer. His deal is setting up section 8 housing in the Phillips neighborhood in south Minneapolis. He uses the net to stay in contact with people in his little organizer group, and others across the country who want to find new more efficient ways to bring about social justice. And by social justice, I mean, keeping people on welfare for as long as humanly possible.

Oh, and we found out then, that this was not an official FCC hearing on net neutrality. It appeared that this was a finger on the pulse of the public in order to justify further action towards regulation at a later time by being able to point to this meeting as a bellwether of public opinion.

At that point, blood was about to come gushing out of my eye sockets, so I was glad that the public was going to get a chance to refute this attempt to bring more government control into our lives.

Boy, was I disappointed. The first five people that came to the microphone all proudly proclaimed themselves “community organizers.”

Each one kissed the asses of the FCC commissioners in attendance, and one by one, each of them begged for government intervention in the Internet. These people are grown men and women who have been fed since birth, the idea that government is the answer to all the problems in their lives.

Now, I am not completely insensitive to some of the issues at hand. I do believe that free markets lead to more competition, which in the end leads to better services and lower prices. And, I would love to have more choices in my area about who provides my Internet services. However, a massive government intervention into the way businesses are allowed to function is not the way to accomplish this.

There were examples brought up of how individual cities have set up their own wireless networks, and in a few cases, it’s worked out well for the citizens of those towns. Here in my town, the city tried to institute a wireless network and failed miserably. And for that failure, I blame the city for not doing their due diligence in selecting their vendor.

The upshot of this whole situation is the belief, and a wrongly held belief, that Internet access is a right. This argument is bullshit, for there is public access to the Internet available in schools and libraries now. The real point I am seeing here, is that the entitlement mentality that has been pervading government since the days of “the great experiment” is that providing free goodies to people will somehow enhance their lives, and make them more productive members of society.

This, unfortunately, has been proven wrong time and time again. Human nature is such that if you are provided basic needs, you will not go out and get them for yourself. That is why the welfare state is not about providing for those incapable of providing for themselves, it is about concentrating a voting block for the party that provides the goodies.

Three generations have been under the spell of “The Great Experiment”, and to what end? Three generations of poverty, dependence, illiteracy, the destruction of the nuclear family in these segments clearly show the failure of the welfare state.

To continue giving goodies away, is to continue the policies of a failed idea. To continue to let generations fall away from the promise of the American Dream is to keep that segment of our population under virtual slavery.

And really, isn’t that what Government control is all about? This attempt to regulate the Internet is part of a larger puzzle. There is no compelling reason to try to establish Government control of this resource, except to monitor the population, and to extend a control function to the Government.

Government understands the power of the Internet. It sees the destruction that it has brought about to the old media, and the power of the new media. The Government, which has no current control over the dissemination of information that itis has enjoyed in the past, is coming to understand that the populace, and by populace, I mean the majority of the country no longer willing to accept blindly the edict of the ruling class. That is the real issue that confronts the Washington power brokers of today. The awakening of the majority of this country to the creeping socialist agenda foisted upon the country by both parties is a death threat to the plans to deconstruct the Constitution and the powers that rightly belong to the States.

To the powerbrokers in Washington, and the people who so willingly give up their freedoms to them, I have but one thing to say:

You are the problem. You will be replaced. You will bear the weight of your treachery. And you will become the slaves of the Government you begged to take over your lives.

Enjoy your servitude.

Bitches.

The following is a recounting of an event I attended on August 19,2010. It’s not news reporting, and I have marked opinion paragraphs with a warning.

Part 2 begins……

Then it’s time for Michael Copps. Who starts out with a shout out to the host, Al and to Amy K, our other embarrassment of a Senator.

And it’s off to the races. The first buzzword brought up is “Progressive Media Reform”. This is the way he puts it, either we take control of the Internet over from the fatcat businesses whose ultimate goal is to rape the public, or we will end up like we have with both local TV and cable TV. Not having enough diversity, and we just can’t have that, we need more diversity. And if we don’t have more diversity, we will enforce diversity and locality at the point of a gun if necessary, and by point of a gun I mean, fines and user fees for people who want to use their bandwidth and airtime for things they want to use it for.

He also was talking most wistfully about all the poor reporters that have been put out of jobs by the new media, and by new media I mean, the modern-day muckraker’s, like Matt Drudge and Andrew Breitbart, no holds barred opponents of the old, leftist, government lapdog media. He goes on to talk about how the deregulation of the media under oddly enough, Republicans has created this problem. No mention of the days when the big three controlled everything that you saw, and everything that you heard.

Opinion follows………..

Yeah, that deregulation, which brought about cable and MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, all valuable tools to the progressives. So the fact that they were asleep, while all this happened, now means that the government has to clamp down on Internet. And of course it’s all Bush’s fault. Of course it’s the government’s job to protect the people against privatization of the Internet by the nasty people that have built the infrastructure and take care of all the servers. They are very upset that the government doesn’t have the ability currently to punish businesses for being the evil moneygrubbing bastards that they are. But he’s willing to work to take care of that. There were all sorts of buzz words like “protection for the citizenry”, and luckily for us vigilant crusading senators like Al Franken and Amy K. are going to help! As a matter of fact, this is such a big deal that you could actually call it a civil rights movement that is as important as suffrage. And with that, he turns it over to his junior commissioner, Mignon Clyburn .

This gal is all about creating a new victimhood class, which are not being represented on the net right now. Her contention is that according to the Beloved Leader, the Internet is vital infrastructure, and as such, everyone has a right to it and they will make laws to give it to the masses in the quantity and quality that the government sees fit. Oh no, she says, it’s not about control of the content of the Internet. It’s about data flowing freely, because people that pay more money shouldn’t have a right to get their data out of a bigger pipe. Because the net has not been regulated by the government, it’s just not fair. It’s that, and what about the victims, the victims that will be denied the opportunity to sit on their asses all day long downloading porn, hijacking movies and collecting unemployment and welfare. What is the matter with you people, don’t you have compassion for these welfare cases, errrr, victims?

Back to the story……..

So during all this, Al ”the clown” Franken, pretty much has been nodding off, sitting behind his laptop, with the oh-so-trendy anti-SB 1070 bumper sticker on it. Nodding off, of course, until someone mentions his name.

At the end of the second FCC commissioners take, Al bails, giving some lame excuse about going out with his mother-in-law.

Then we were treated to a local panel discussion of why we need the FCC to regulate something that’s worked perfectly fine for oh, 40 years or so.

A local Native American activist lady speaks first and says Yay Obama for giving us money for wireless! To be fair, she made good points about the lack of infrastructure in NW Minnesota, and the helpfulness that have good connections would be to the Tribes up there. This I believe, is a constructive use for Government in regards to Internet access. Government can set up that infrastructure, and take bids for the connections to the existing providers in that area. you don’t need to take over the whole Internet to do it, either.

End Part 2

The following is a recounting of an event I attended on August 19,2010. It’s not news reporting, and I have marked opinion paragraphs with a warning.

So, tonight I went to a net neutrality hearing.

In attendance were FCC commissioners Michael Copps, and Mignon Clyburn. Also, the Minnesota Secretary of State, and George Soros minion Mark Ritchie. And for good measure Al ”the clown” Franken.

I was fortunate enough to have gone to this net neutrality meeting at South High School on 32nd and 19th Ave in South Minneapolis. The meeting was held in the auditorium where they had crummy phone signal, but good wireless.

I sat down and took some pictures, and checked out the local landscape. I was seated in front of four people in their late 50s /early 60s, who were obviously well off enough to spend time making it difficult for others to make money. They were the usual Libs that spend their time being politically active, who make donations to the all the right causes, and spend the time they have bashing, in no particular order, George Bush, Sarah Palin, Republicans in general, and anyone who didn’t fit their worldview.

They were very excited that Mark Ritchie was opening the show, and that Al Franken would be in attendance.

So the program kicks off with a lovely rap song/PowerPoint presentation asking the Government to save the people from all the nasty business types who would wreak havoc on them in their unbridled greed for actually charging for net access.

Mark Ritchie gets up to a nice round of applause, and goes on to talk about the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the Science Museum of Minnesota. He then goes on to compare the writings on the Dead Sea Scrolls with the activity going on in or on the Internet currently as being just as important as the Dead Sea Scrolls. In his eyes, the Government taking control of the Internet is as important to our posterity as the Dead Sea Scrolls themselves. That whatever’s coming up on the Internet is as important, if not more so than what’s gone on before.

He read the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as if to buttress his argument for the Government interfering in private business. In an even more inflammatory tone, he tried to draw a correlation between the current state of the Internet and the defects in the 35W bridge that caused its collapse. Now, leaving aside the obvious argument that Government’s job was to inspect that bridge to ascertain it’s safety, he wants us to freaking believe that the Government has the capacity to regulate traffic on the net without screwing it up. This is probably the weakest argument I’ve ever heard for Government intervention in private enterprise.

Opinion paragraph follows…….

And, if that wasn’t enough, then went on to pat himself on the back for his alleged transparency during the voting process, which deprived Norm Coleman of his rightly and fairly won Senate seat. (Now, anybody with a passing acquaintance to reality and somewhat of an interest in the political process understands that Mark Ritchie was a candidate who took money from George Soros and was part of the Soros project to infiltrate the Secretary of State elections in various states in order to facilitate favorable rulings in closely contested elections.) Richie gets up and starts congratulating himself on running such a transparent election, which went into recount after recount, lawsuit after lawsuit. There were districts where there were more votes cast than there were registered voters. 300 votes were counted from convicted felons, boxes of votes were found in polling places with no chain of control. Boxes of ballots found in trunks of people cars, and this guy is standing out in front of a crowd of people stroking his own dick and telling us what a good guy he is. And the clueless sheep eat it up.

Back to the story….

The host of the evening comes up next, and does his little rah rah for the glorious intervention of the Government into our everyday lives. After blithering for a bit about how glorious it will all be once the Government regulates the Internet, he introduces Minnesota’s quivering pile of protoplasm Al “the clown” Franken.

Franken strides on stage, and starts his rant. Bad evil businesses who use their networks to make money hate regular people. Businesses use more bandwidth than regular people, and that’s bad. Evil, evil corporations like Comcast exploit the regular people by not giving everybody a huge up/down connection. And of course, businesses that can afford a better connection can pay for one, while the rest of us have to scrape by just using our regular old Internet. He then goes on to rant about the Google/Verizon plan, and warns against it being evil by quoting “when Government does not act, corporations will.”

So that was just the beginning, then the rant went into the Comcast/NBC/Universal proposed merger, saying that when the trifecta of evil comes into play that everything will just go straight to hell. And there will be a universal conspiracy to deprive the people of their “right” to broadband Internet at a price that the Government thinks is fair. And meets the Government’s standards for the Internet. So the upshot of this is that if you allow merger of Verizon/NBC/Universal, then you would open up the way to an possible ABC/Disney/AT&T merger, and then you would have a possible CBS/Viacom/Sprint merger, resulting in the dreaded “three way triangle of death”, in which three companies would control all the pipes in the country. And they would have their way with us to the ultimate end which of course would be elimination of the Internet to any but the chosen few. And by chosen few, I mean those who actually freaking pay for things, like taxpayers, you know, people with jobs who foot the bills for the Government.

End Part 1

That’s right. I said it. The attacks on the Target Corporation and their recent donation to MN Forward in their own obvious interest in what they believe to be a more a business friendly political climate are pure, unadulterated, fascism.

For those of you not familiar with this chain of events, here is a quick review. Step 1: Target Corp donates $150,000 to MN Forward. Step 2: homosexuals and homosexual supporters attack Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel. Step 3: Steinhafel is nailed to the cross, backpedals and tries to explain the methodology behind his decision and faces continued backlash.

By it’s own mission statement, MN Forward states their goal is simple: “MN Forward is a new organization established to ensure that private-sector job creation and economic growth are at the top of the agenda during the 2010 campaign. We are working with a broad coalition of Minnesota job creators to elect candidates from both parties who support policies that enhance job growth in Minnesota.”

These unwarranted attacks and half-assed boycotts against Target are foolishness to the highest degree. MN Forward wants to create jobs. Liberal policy is arguably not the way to achieve this. Just look at the track record of job creation over the past few years of liberal rule. Our best shot at job creation, is market-friendly political policy. This is what MN Forward is seeking to achieve. MN Forward doesn’t just donate to one party, they donate to the candidates they feel can provide for our people. This could very well mean that some of the donation will find its way to a same-sex union supporting candidate anyway.

But don’t let those liberals find out you disagree with them. They will tar and feather you, label you a racist, sexist, homophobe- whatever is convenient at the time. They will destroy you on a personal level for having a different belief set. They want their ideas to be the only ideas. They will not have an honest debate on the matter, they will not respect freedom of choice and opinion, or freedom of speech.

As the ‘party of tolerance,’ there certainly isn’t much to be found here. There is only one way forward. Destruction of those who disagree. The militant left want to create a climate of stringent socioeconomic control. A climate where those who have a single doubt about their social beliefs are to be branded and cast out of society. This is pure fascism. It is the political policy of trying to force a social ideology on the people.

I challenge conservatives to stand up for personal and political freedom of opinion. Send Steinhafel an email. Send MN Forward a donation. Argue the ideals of freedom of thought with those taking up arms against freedom of speech.

A vote for conservative economic policy is not necessarily a vote against homosexual “rights”- and even if it were, this is America after all. We all have a right to vote for what we feel is right. If you don’t like it- vote for someone else, campaign harder for someone else. This country was built on free market creation, we must stop the path to fascist destruction.
